Improve Your Game With A Custom Golf Club Set
All golfers are unique in many ways and they all have a combination of physical strengths and weaknesses that creates a golf swing that is uniquely their own. With this in mind, it is easy to understand why a custom golf club set can offer a player an advantage and can be one of the most helpful golf aids for improving their game. These days, there are many brands and styles of clubs that can be customized.
Creating a custom set of golf clubs involves measuring the golfer and then adjusting the clubs for shaft type and length, for the lie angle, and for the size and type of grip. Many people feel that out of all the various golfing equipment they have purchased and all of the golf aids they have tried to improve their game, the best equipment has been the custom set of clubs they invested in.
The process that goes into getting a custom golf club set made is quite straightforward and rather simple. First, the golfer decides on the brand of clubs that they want and then they have some measurements taken. In most cases, the person who is getting the clubs customized also needs to fill out a questionnaire and self-assessment of how they see their game, as well as their weaknesses and strengths.
In some cases, if the golfer is taking golfing lessons from a pro, then the instructor may be asked to help with the assessment. This can often be very valuable to the process because the instructor is an impartial third party who also has the golf training and expertise to be able to identify the weaknesses that need to be addressed with the club set, and perhaps even by adding a golf training club as well.
No matter what your own level of experience with this sport is, a custom set of clubs can be very beneficial. This is because the customization is done with one purpose in mind and that is to make sure that if you execute a proper swing, the club will squarely impact the ball in order to produce a good, clean, straight shot.
Custom clubs that has been correctly adjusted for your height, your skill level, and your golf swing speed, can improve many aspects of your game and can even help correct a chronic golf slice. When a golfer slices a ball, it is because the toe of the golf club has lead into the golf ball.
This could be caused by a poorly executed swing, but it can also be caused by a club face that is too flat. The process of customizing clubs for you can help eliminate this problem, and then you simply have to maintain focus on your golf swing improvement.
Of course, just having a custom golf club set made will not resolve the problems you are having in your game. It is also a good idea to take advantage of golfing lessons that can help you learn to use your new clubs correctly and identify any technique problems. Many people have reported that the combination of having a set of custom-made clubs and professional golfing lessons, combined with diligent practice and patience, can create opportunities for maximizing their true golfing potential.

Golf Club Brands For Beginners – 3 Choices, Choose The Best!
Golfing enthusiasts today need not be disheartened like their uncles and aunts of yore when taking to golfing was something only rich retirees or military officers aspired to as golfing as a preferred leisure sport is here to stay ? and for all ages and genders, too. By the looks of things on the 24 hour sports channels and local golf links, there are as many women on the green as there are teens, which makes it evident which way the wind blows when golfing as a classy, gentleman?s sport is spoken about. The new age popularity of golfing as a week-end sport and even as a guy-bonding or girl?s day outing that is unmatched has busted the old perception about the game.
Beginners taking to golf are spoilt for choice today with so many different companies manufacturing quality golfing equipment and accessories, with the majority of them guided by scientific research and technology for production of the same; then, be it golf clubs, adjustable heads and even an eclectic mix of branded clubs, there?s a wide array of designer choices for the discerning golfer.
Choosing the best golf clubs today is more a matter of budget than availability since all the best brands are on display in the market and investing in the right equipment can help one raise their current skill level to a higher one.
Most of the better golfing equipment retailers offer beginners good deals to start off their golfing interest with: from adjustable clubs that are suited to working in different situations to half-set of clubs (minus the higher skill level clubs) to tees and balls and bags to carry your stuff in, there?s a wide array of golfing goods stores today carry for your sporting delight. One thing to remember when buying golf clubs is never to buy any set that is outside of your skill range as this will prove to be damaging for your game.
Among the top names in golfing gear is Ping, a leading manufacturer of professional golfing equipment that is also supported by best user reviews from top golfing magazines. What makes this manufacturer unique and gives them such strong brand recognition is because of the quality of their adjustable clubs and half sets that are ideal for beginners. The Ping brand of golf equipment includes half-sets of clubs that are assorted in style but still perfect for the beginner on the course as they can be adjusted easily to enhance performance and aid Golf Club Swing. Even if the manufacturer only offers a select range in this type of clubs, they provide more than necessary features for the beginner golfer to hone his or her skills in order to improve their stroke technique.
Once this is done, the beginner can look towards moving up to investing in a branded full golf club set. This is one that includes all 14 varieties of golf clubs and these can be varyingly used in different situations, which the more advanced golfer will be able to recognize and choose from after analyzing the situation on the green.
If Ping does not carry the golf clubs you are looking for, try the Cobra brand, recommend experts. This brand makes great drivers and many expert golfers prefer buying this make over Ping as they mix and match the best from both brands at will, from various category of clubs. Since most beginner golfers have a tough time with drivers, the frustration of hitting a ball completely off the intended course is minimized quite a bit with Cobra drivers, which are intricate in detailing and provide the beginner long and accurate drives down the golf course.

Golf Club Jobs
Working at a golf course can be a very beneficial experience; just the free golf alone makes it worthwhile, not to mention all the connections that can be made. Golf club jobs are perfect for teenagers looking to get into golf, retired people looking to keep busy, and anyone else looking for a second job, and some free golf. If you are interested in free golf, and are looking into applying for a job at a golf course, check out these typical golf course jobs.
Cart Attendant:
?Cart attendants? typically have the job of setting up golf carts in front of the clubhouse for usage, as well as washing the carts after golfers are through with them. Additionally, many clubs have their cart attendants carry golfers? clubs to their carts, and sometimes clean their clubs. If the course has a driving range, they are often times responsible for picking up the balls from the range. Cart attendants potentially can make a decent amount of tips in cleaning clubs, and shagging bags. Usually you need to be at least sixteen years old to work as a cart attendant, and have a driver?s license.
Maintenance
If you are looking for more manual labor, there is also the maintenance staff, which works under the greens keeper/superintendant in maintaining the course. This job consists of mowing the greens, fairways, and rough, watering the course, and making sure the golf course is in good shape for play. It consists of a considerable about of labor, and I imagine could be very unbearable on an extremely hot or cold day, but the maintenance staff typically gets paid more than a cart attendant. Again, you usually need to be at least sixteen to do this job, and have a driver?s license.
Beverage Cart Driver
In order to accommodate golfers who are hungry or thirsty out on the course, most golf courses have a person who drives a beverage cart around the course selling snacks, drinks, and alcohol. The ?beer girl?, as this person is commonly referred to, is typically a girl, and makes the majority of her money in tips. The beverage cart driver should be at least eighteen in order to serve alcohol and twenty-one if they are required to pour alcohol.
Ranger/Starter
The ranger and starter are the people in charge of making sure the pace of play out on the course is adequate. The starter stands by the first tee, makes sure the golfers paid for their round, and tells them what time to tee off. The ranger drives around the golf course to keep the pace of play at a good rate. In my experiences, most of the rangers I have met are usually retired men, but I have seen people of all ages working as a ranger.
Clubhouse Jobs
If being outside is not for you; there are plenty of jobs available in the clubhouse. You could work as a cashier in the pro shop, a cook in the kitchen, or as a server or bartender.
There are obviously many golf club jobs available; meaning lots of opportunities for free golf! If you like to be around the sport of golf, and are looking for free golf, apply to your local golf course for a job!

Your Golf Club – Learn The Summer And Winter Golf Rules
Most players of the game of golf are willing to play their favorite sport in any given month, but did you know that the rules of the game can vary with summer and winter months, depending on what part of the country you are in? In the winter months a golf course appears quite different from what it looks like in the summer, and this requires some of the rules to be changed to accommodate this fact. Different clubs have their own rules on how a game should proceed depending on what month of the year it is. Such laws are popularly known as local rules and do take the trouble to find out if these are in effect at the venue you are playing at. Sticking to the winter and summer laws will enable you to get the most out of your game.
Golf was definitely not intended as a winter game, so the normal rules of golf are in effect during the summer months. You will find most of the courses in the best suited conditions for golf during summer months. However if a course is located in a very hot country they may have laws that require you to tee off only from certain areas of the course. This of course prevents from damage of the grass on certain areas. An unsaid summer rule of the game is to always make sure you repair any damage to the green when you swing. Green areas are the most vulnerable during the scorching heat, and if you leave a ball mark on this area it may remain for the whole of the coming year. When you are playing from the fairway make sure you replace your divots. Following these easy instructions will help you maintain the course throughout the summer months.
A lot of the greenery will die out towards the months of the winter. In some places the course may even see some snow or heavy rain. Such conditions could lead to lay areas on the fairway which are near impossible to play on. Many golf clubs affect the ?play the ball up? rule during the months of the winter. This rule allows you to touch the ball when you are playing on the fairway, which is the only way you will ever get a decent chance of scoring in these extreme conditions.
It is obvious that the summer and winter specific rules of the game will vary from club to club and from region to region. Maybe you could make some specific rules in your own play group, for these extreme conditions. In any case make sure you are completely clear about these rules if you are playing in such conditions.
